Sometimes I Write Things

bergeyI'm a month behind on things that I meant to write about here. This in an easy post, though, because I already wrote the hard bits. In particular, I wrote a conference paper last fall, and presented it in Montreal at the end of June, as part of the ASHRAE annual conference. Both the paper and my slides (pdf) are now posted online, in case anyone is interested in what I do for fun a living.
talia_et_alia and I drove up to Montreal for the conference, and stayed a few days after. This was our first long ride on our motorcycle, and also the test run for the panniers and luggage rack that we built. I've been meaning to write about the latter, but maybe I'll wait until mark 2, which will be substantially more robust.
